I capsized the other dasy because I got stuck under the boom of my wooden Phantom. Part of the problem was the thickness of the back panel of my buoyancy aid (a Gul/ Pinnel and Bax Race). Does anyone know of a buoyancy aid that has no thickness at all and nothing to catch on the upper half of the back panel? (and don't tell me to lose weight - I just have!)

My impact buoyancy aid is considerably thinner than my sailing one, but it is twice the length. Making it harder to bend your torso.

Maybe have a look a the Spinlock buoyancy aids. The back panel on them is thinner than most . 

I loved my spinlock foil until it shrank lol ( I got fat )
