yer watch the hole between the racks and the boat hurts when u go down there!!  dont buy the 29er back the 4000 is more stable and faster   contsentrate on turning round straight line speed is easy but keeping the speed through the corners is harder!!  and most important have fun   and wave as u fly past the 29ers

Make sure you have a got all the foot rests and areas you are likly to step on well pro gripped because you want to stop your self going forward as much as possible if you sink in to the wave in front!!!

Also make sure you get use to the wing wam on the kite pole as alot of extra ground can be maid pulling the pole to windward allowing you to sail deeper.

In My opinion when you are helming the 4k you need to remember that there is a lot of weight in the Ali mast and that when you tack not to go in!!  Also the crew needs to role the boat with the helm and quickly jump on the wire to counteract the mast weight etc. Also allow yourself lots of space to bare away as the 4K goes like a spanish demon!!

Forget about the wing wam system, just set your pole in centre and sail the boat as a skiff. The rig generates enough power to do so, just concentrate on boat handling. If you were successsful in the 29er, the 4000 should be as easy to sail, sail it like the 29er but observe that your weight distrubution might be slightly different.
