Open to any other offers then.

You need to be able to trapeze, bag a kite, and buy a round.

Grafham is my home club (one of them) and I am missing this for the third year running.  Gutted.

Just to add fuel to the PY debate

LINK to results of Yorkshire Dales SC Brass Monkey Event.
With almost 100 boats sailing, it was a good testing event, and the first three all tied on 5 points.

The ( not true) argument that no good Lasers go to these big winter events certainly doesn't apply as we had the National Champion, 4th in Masters Worlds, and several Youth Squad members sailing. We also had the current and/or ex 420 and ex Fireball Euro Champion, Fireball World Champion, RS200 Inland & GP Champions, RS Euro cup 4th, RS500 Champion, Scorpion, Vortex and other ex Champions, as well as several other top sailors.
Standard PYs used
Wind F2 gusting 3 -  Mixed courses.

In our club racing the fast asymmetrics do better than they did here - possibly it wasn't quite windy enough for them to twin wire, but in the bigger gusts they couldnt quite hold their kites for the full leg while the 200s and symmetrics such as Scorpions could.

Enjoy!
If anyone wants to crunch the numbers I can send them the results file.
