I think this forum is going to the dogs ... seems to have turned into a "yoof" club. We used to discuss sailing issues on this forum; with interesting debate from people of all ages but if the forum continues as it is I feel it holds little interest ... |

Well yes, but "yoofs" sail too. Let's all lighten up a bit. Poor spelling and textspeak can be annoying but it's not the end of the world. We were all "yoofs" once. Even me. (I'm 96 you know....) |

Private schools are extremely efficient at teaching all sort of subjects. The pupils might not all be quite as receptive as they could, though
And before you "whateva" me again, let me point out I am not being aggressive or overly sarcastic; it's just light-hearted banter commonly practised by state-school dregs like us. I have taught in a top public school, I know exactly what the teacher output can be, and what the pupil retention level can amount to... |
