You're right, I couldn't work out how to delete a post. I had been thinking about the difference between debate, expressions of personal preferences, and product placement/image building on a public forum. But on reflection I decided that, as a one thread visitor to this community, it would be better to keep my opinion to myself.

Hey, is it something I said?

The good thing about this forum is that you can be ALL of the above, should you want to: 
a.  you can enjoy a lively debate, since there's always a newcomer who has his re-hashed opinion on SMODs

b.  you can fully express your personal preferences (i.e. "History is useless" ) until some  boring teacher asks you to justify your opinion

c. since you are an image-conscious 7250, your "product" (whatever that might be) will gradually acquire popularity with other members and, through your enlightened opinon and helpful advice, it will gain full respect from all!

Saying that, you also have to put up with the likes of me  . Enough to put you off for life...

If you get second thoughts, 7250, come back and play with us! We're not as bad as you think

Without camera crews sailing will be an even more boring sport at the olympics, it would get dropped in favour of something like skateboarding, we'd loose most of our funding and the sport as a whole would suffer big time.

like em or not: camera crews need to be woried about

ok maybe still have camera crews but stop playing around with the format of racing ie the medal race. winning is meant to be due to consistency in sailing and i dont think the medal race would reflect that.
