Graham, can you seal the mast? This could save you the ego bruising of a mast float.

The mast is a colander it's got more holes than Blackburn Lancashire..

I think I have a solution but I need to draw it up..

On another note One of my club mates may be going for a Far 3.7 you'll be pleased to hear..

Holy cow it's colossal! Impressive all the same.

I'm not surprised you have jib issues...the forestry looks horribly slack.  You need to get some more rig tension on that pronto!  A longer tiller looks like it would help too...

Grf - I love it!

But when I read the ideas about inflatable recovery aids I can't help thinking:

'Multi's  tend to be rather stable .... both ways up....   Same thing with hulls with wide 'flares' on hulls they can make a monohull even more stable upside down  !

Come on Greame salvage all the useful bits and put it down to experience and we'd still sell you a semi-bare Blaze hull if you wanted (or buy something suitable elsewhere) .. you can still develop a 'special' with a bit of input if the yearing to be a tad different is still there but I just feel the V2 will end up frustrating the living day lights out of you over time and after all none of us are getting any younger.  Life is far too short etc.  It can be fun trying new things out but sure as hell it can also be expensive if it does not go right early on...  I've cut up complete hulls before now when they were ... er well ... proving to be 'problematic' despite what the theory and our hopes previously suggested ... hulls that maybe some might even have marketed ....  When you get one that's as sweet as a nut you will know it fairly quickly but they really really are a minority.
