So Rodders, has the fleet settled on a sailmaker. Keep seeing mainsails and kites with Hyde "H"s

All the guys at the front have the final product, yes Hyde mains and kites    We went through 4 sailmakers before settling for them but also buckets of test sails before the final shapes were established.  You will be pleased to know that included taking 4" off the leach - more headroom.  It's just amazing how much faster the production sail is than the development ones.

We have put a new blog style page on the D-One UK site.  To start the page we have Adrian's input about taking the Demo boat out into Hayling Bay last weekend to see, for himself, how it performed on the sea.  Go to  http://devoti-one.co.uk/devoti-one_suntouched3_009.htm see how he got on.

'Another gust, catch up the swell in front, its enormous, must be the height of my second batten, its breaking on the other side, I don’t want to overtake this !'

Call those cups?

You need to see the size of the ones planned for the UK series next year

If size (and antiquity and provenance) of trophies are your thing then the fleet to be in in the UK is the International Canoe Class.

"What's that big dull brass coloured one in amongst the victorian silver?"
"Not brass: its bronze - made from one of the Americas Cup J class challengers..."
