Maybe the logo design is taking longer than anticipated.

Julian Pearson and Nick just built their Int 14s at home (last one was too)

+1 I know that 'Pamela' the I14 at the boat show was home built last year.

I like to take pictures of sailing, but I'd rather be sailing!

Since you’re into building something innovative and you’re all for latest technology why not try a wing sail such as that being used on the int. moth.  This would float in a capsize.  You could also try filling parts of it with foam to add buoyancy.

How sad! Its a Vortex sail. Get over it. Yes it would be bad manners if you were racing it, but for development sailing why on earth not.

Well JimC, its not actually true,  so I'm not sure if Grumph was trolling to get me to respond or not - but looks like he 'got' you instead. There has most definately been no complaint - official or otherwise from the Vortex class. In fact I helped source the sail for him.

Er do I have to cut and paste my Facebook page then, I took that fairly seriously...

I can think of half a dozen home builds Int Moths in the UK alone in the last year or two and half a dozen more in Europe. It's still happening.

stop going on about it, it was a purely accidental part of the 9er design anyway, hundreds of modern boats have non linear curves, and they still go faster than yours
