Could have sworn Valencia was on the sea...

Seems to me to be a boat that needs space to get the most out of it, so it is the gravel pit sailor in the UK who will be missing out.

I try to look at it from GRF's point of view, but I honestly cannot see that it is an ugly boat.

It's a shame you (grf & others) have such a strong disliking to its looks.

Have you seen one in the flesh, its bloody beautiful.

Everyones entitled to their opinions though.

The wierd thing is....I don't like the look of many boats, but it doesn't bother me enough to write derogitory comments about them or critisise people who sail them?

Folks..

You don't come on to a reader forum, pimp all that free advertising and
expect a soft ride, that is not the way it works..

Especially when there are deep suspicions that some of that written script
is benefitting the authors, wether it be by cheap deals or just plain old
fashioned commercial gain.

I know all this because its part of my commercial world, they're lucky this
is a family friendly forum or there would be all kinds of unpleasant
similarities posted and associated with this tub.

Why?

Because it amuses me, and I don't like boats that discriminate against my
size or my sailing area and this is an ugly lake sailing lard boys ride..

It's an opinion Luca - build a wall - and get over it.

Your boat is totally useless to me, as well as being ugly..Fact.

Been following this thread with great interest, having owned a Devoti Finn in the past. The build quality from Devoti has in my experience been exceptional. I really like the look of this boat.

I have been away from sailing for too long. Back injury plus the current situation of the construction industry have prevented my return.

But now the back is fixed, and things are looking up in the building trade. I am a bit lighter at 85kg than I used to be and the skateboarding has kept my fitness levels up. This boat could be just what I am looking for. If things continue as they are, roll on next spring.

All I need to do now is convince the wife.
