Cor blimey! Just talked to Thunder Road and he was just going into the gym
 This event is meant to be for fun so I am thinking of applying a 10% penalty for anyone who's physically fit

I see Greame is going for a 30% 'help' is that before we even get near the water ! Blimey the V2 might win yet if he brings it .... er or maybe not. I just read something about Elvstrom saying there is little point in winning if you lose your friends ... that's probably not going to be too much of an issue for some of us at this event as you'd have to have a few friends going in the first place.  ... and I can already hear the PN b*****s discussion in the bar afterwards for a start ! highly unlikely if it's run in October.... besides we all know Russ would win, he beat me squarely at our last duel in RS300s a few years ago, shame he was a complete bender and went home rather than stepped up for some (Pink) Sambuca. As for my only other forum 'battle of the bullsh*ters'... the other guy was pathetic, some lame excuse about a knot in his kite halyard and he also fell asleep rather than come out for a few beers....

Er it's a joke Mike, something I know you struggle with, sense of humour, I hear you often lose it at regattas, best not show up mate, if that is going to be the case, this is for a laugh, nothing serious. Some of us (probably most on here)honestly don't care if we win or lose, it won't dent or damage our sense of humour, nor dull our online opinion, it's a great opportunity to put a name to a face of those we seem to be spending more and more time in the company of. There are also those of us on here who don't view each other as potential customers, just potential friends, that is the spirit with which I'm headed up there, just so I know even more who to not to take too seriously and get wound up by.. Maybe you should show up.

Tis the internet, if we wanted to we could all just show up at any of our locales to suit, we are an online community are we not, a community in need of serious correction in attitudes. Youf-full arrogance in severe need of an on water thrashing, then watch it blubbering for its mummy as it's laying under some bar room table in a pool of its own vomit..
