No-one in the UK is using small rigs and there are sailors down to around 72 Kgs sailing competitively.

The D One Gold Cup starts today at Alassio, Italy. A big international entry is expected. Should be awesome racing!
Best of luck to the British boats that have been trekking out there over the last couple of days! |

Early reports, following the ice cream, beer and pasta, is that today's chop was 'exciting'! But excellent racing!
More champagne conditions forcast for tomorrow. P.S. keep an eye on that chap Nick Craig, if the chop gets a little easier to deal with... ;) |

Well I am gutted I can't be there now!! Looking forward to seeing full results! Wouldn't want to bet against Nick, his new boat was unwrapped in Alassio so I guess it may take a while to get used to! I hear that the chop is hard work!

Hi
I would of thought Nick was used to chop, as he does a lot of practising of Lee on Solent, although not in his D one that I have seen. Cheers Good luck to all the guys. |
