What's the problem? They look OK to me. Couple of shorts where more kicker is needed which would bring the draft forward, but otherwise nice shapes.

The 9 (radial cut) looks OK but the top half of the 7 (Pic 11) looks awful; can't see much of the 5. Might be the strength of the breeze causing material to stress...didn't look like 30mph in the pictures.

Nothing that wouldn't be fixed by a bit more batten tension.

Bit more puckering than a tighter top batten will sort out. Still, they certainly seem to shift in a blow, which will keep the masses happy.

Thanks for the photos. These, and others I have seen, nearly all show the boat reaching - are there any of it going upwind? It looks like you can't sit very far forward so am wondering if it always sails bow up?

I think the chines might give you a real BOOST, but then others might consider them a FUDGE to try and sell boats.
Anyway hiking the 9m for a whole day, I'd certainly FLAKE, and without either a TIMEOUT, or a SNACK, Id be feeling CURLY WURLY. |
