Dear TT,

A man of your social skills just needs to look a bit harder, I know for a fact that there is a breed of dogs that originated in Essex and have now spread throughout the UK and certain parts of eastern Europe. They tend to form their pack in a circle and jig about to background music, this music is at such a pitch that humans only hear a dull thud of bass.  They have specific items that they put in the middle of the circle, it is a cheap receptical that they pick up on market stalls, their feet are also quite unique in shape in that they have to hide their odd shaped paws white shoes.

so Dave should I pretend to hip to keep in with the boys, or feign intelligence?

Feign intelligence, works for me!  You can pretend to be hip all you like, but you are 'only in with the boys' because they think you have a fat wallet and will pay for the drinks, try getting 'in with the girls' it will be much more fun

Thank you for the advice.  Tomorrow is going to be very hot, so I will take the day off in order to advise the girls on the best way to apply sunscreen.  I shall of course do all those hard to reach bits for them.
