Peaky,

Looks good.

Are you able to model how high the centreboard will be above the water when it is on its side?

Sustainable price is probably £8k, but 'off plan' price could be 15% less. And I'm sure I can do you a deal if you want 20 of them James!

no flaming- lovely looking modern design, nice size kite that might actually get used.

No major focus on pure speed in the design- just fun and thrills.  A Blaze Mk 4.  Sounds perfect.

So anyone else in the Midlands want one?

And Peaky, what's your first offer for the unit price on 20 of them?

In another thread Getafix said:

Hoping to see something for single-handing about Contender length, with carbon spars, main and kite, flared sides or comfy racks to hike off (Aura over Blaze type), cassette style rudder, t-foil, dagger or c'board and weighing about 60kg all up. Should be possible to go tacking up shorelines out of the tide while delivering decent upwind performance and with a kite small enough, or flat enough, that it can actually be two-sailed on a beam or even tight-ish reach so it's not limited to W/L racing only on PY.

I had pretty much the same idea, to the extent of trying to buy the Aura's wings. The idea was to size the beam and kite to be the smallest they could consistent with true asymmetric performance, upwind planing and kiteable reaching.

Anyway, I thought it *might* be fun to put a picture up and let the flaming begin!
