I think the Glyn Charles is run off Hayling Handicaps. If you look at their website - the RS200 appears to sail off 1106 - the same as a Wayfarer. The handicaps are based around an average boat, in this case the Flying Fifteen.

There are so few of them that is hard to judge the performance of the design; more easy to say that Graham & Zoe are very good sailors in the light stuff ...

The 8.1 could have been considered a bandit this weekend. Was almost perfect conditions for it at Hunts. Just enough to get boats moving but not enough that the Phantoms can use their rapid acceleration to good effect. That combined with a good long run meant I managed to edge out the current club champ in race one and then show the fleet a clean transom in race 2.

There were mutterings by some of the Phantom boys about handicaps as theirs has been locally adjusted to 1033 (all of them are epoxy hull, carbon sticks). The conditiones were perfect for me though...smiles all the way home!
