Did you set it up before you first sailed the boat. If not was there a big difference in performance handling etc?

think all y&y forumites should take over a certain area of the rigging area at queen mary for the event, that way no wondering around trying to find people all be in one place

Smight, i set the boat up when i got it to the club. i didnt sail the boat before that so i dont know if there was any difference.

Ratface, a great idea! who knows queen mary well enough to give us directions as to where to park our boats?

If there was a "who can get in everyones way" competition, you'llwin barton. 5m long and 3m wide. Though I might decide to rig on the horizontal . In which case ill be 3.7m long and over 7m wide.

that makes 14 ft by 7 ft sound quite modest.

Well, I think we are aiming to get there about 9:00 .. Look for the 5k! We'll try and keep a few spaces clear either side of us ( Easy done when you are 3.05 meters wide ( just hull ) and need a few ft to walk around it! )

Oh and Ross .. 8.3 meters wide for the 5k if we rigged after " loosing the halyard "

I am desperate to go, but again it will be a night before job! Hopefully picking the boat back up from Grafham this weekend! we will need loads of room because the 14 has no halyard!
