Nope. First stage boosters ready to go. 10, 9, 8, .... NASA tired of all the space shuttle issues turning to a new launch pad. Should be good for the sport!

As a matter of fact ... I did!

I think I was the first one to sail it!

Little bit heavy .. And the toestraps are quite slippery ... ( Yes, ratface did a backflip out while crewing for me .. reaching with the kite and he disapeared with a nice splash! ) but overall, will probably do what it was designed for. ( Family cruising )

Time will tell!

It was actually totally accidental I think!!

Thats the boat I took to the Inlands and loosened the toestraps off a LONG way for ( Comfort reasons! ) but they were too loose for general use at the club, so they were tightened back up. It looks like the rope tying them in was replaced a few weeks ago now though.

They took the boat out, and I was out helping with Safety, and happened to have my camera with me as they were reaching around. Saw a gust coming, so out comes the camera, and snapping away .. Gust hits .. They hike stupidly hard ... Boat starts coming flat, and they bear off a little ... ( Snapping away this whole time ) ... look back up .. and see the helm is a little further out than before ... ( as in that pic )

Turns out from later analysis ( sitting alongside them ) that the knot had come undone, and he was hiking from the elastic!

Once in a .. umm ... Month photo!

The pics taken just before the rope slipped ...

I have been lead to believe you have instructed here recently .... So don't start mentioning the size of the lake ...

I always have plenty of fun there, and its good tacking and gybing practice!

Indeed I have. I was there just the other week with the Scouts. Was this hilarious  outcome a result of some cheeky foul play, or just an inquisitive mind playing with rope in a boat? Quality photo's btw! Must be one of those jedi photographers with reactions like that!
