Back on topic... ish

I would like a brand  new spinnaker everytime I launched. That slippery feel of the cloth and the fact that you can never fold it up into the compact little shape that it comes from the sailmaker.

Cool what a great idea, have the boat fitted with a sheath of them, hoist them once and detach rather than drop, just rack out another next time..

Leave them in the water discarded to pick up later, give some additional 'obstacles' for the rest of the fleet to negotiate, now that's what I'd call cheque book racing..

All of the Bonezzi sell very quickly and in the UK they are rarely advertised. The last one ended up being to sold to an Australian and exported there.

Should have said mine is a foan sandwich boat. Not epoxy as the glass rules do not allow for this when building a glass boat. For some reason you can buiild a wooden boat using epoxy.

Yep I have wood epoxy Gosling built boat - can't afford a Bonezzi!  Still haven't sailed it yet.. Cry

Why are you selling Mark?

My other lottery expenditure would be to get a real expert to tart up my classic 14 which has now been on my to do list for nearly two years.  Ridiculous.
the same, but different...

Plus new sails for said 14, because they are humingous and a poor girl like me will never afford a new suit.

Plus of course a bespoke breathable over boom cover, bottom cover, trailing cover, new spars, a precision engineered replica mast jack, bespoke trolley with jockey wheel, all new fittings....etc

All that will probably cost way more than a brand new plastic fantastic and will look soooo much better on the water!

Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else
