Heck Doug, a blimp.

What PY are you expecting to get?

Of course, in an MPS you might be more of a blip...

A Renault 16, wooohoo....
Renault 16 was classy when I was a kid! My dad used to have one, and clocked a fair few miles on it too. The R12 (pronounced "air-dooz") was a bit chavvy, even when it was new - even before we invented chavs!
As for the Citroën DS, it was and instant classic, and gave immediate kudos to its owner; my grandad bought one new in 1962, he still talks about it with emotion in his voice.

I dunno if GP14 and 470 owners will be the same, but there are things that cannot be replaced, however cr*p the design can be - all these moments we used to enjoy when we were young, when summers were hot and when it snowed for Christmas.
I'm addressing the old fogies of the forum there (35 and over): it used to be good in the old days, before jobs and mortgages, tax returns and kids' parties and high blood pressure. Don't you agree, boys and girls?

(just kidding, i dont have high blood pressure - i just have very little blood in my alcohol tonight )

nite xxx

Not sure I'd want to be limited to Buzzes and 500's as prey now I've got the V3k though...

I think it might be time your handicap was looked at MM.

If only that were true, no sadly its more us mere mortals that race against him.  Just wait till next year though MM, I'm gonna be a blimp on the horizon.....although the direction of the horizon no one knows!

I know Doug, I was out with Tim in his 59er a few weeks ago and we couldn't keep up, annoying isn't it?

My mum had a brand new Renault 16 back in the 70's.  It went like the clappers and could lean way over on corners.  Great fun.  Citroen DS I have always coveted since I was a kid.  Absolutely the best of everything French.

Isabelle's been drinking, Isabelle's been drinking!!!!   Yes in general terms you are right BnS about all that stuff, but it's really a state of mind and I still enjoy all the simple stuff that I always have. Just less time these days.  And remember, there's always time to lie down for 5 minutes and watch the sky and clouds.

Anyway, the Osprey was updated this year (just to stay on topic), and I urge you all to have a sail in one.

Its the medway, thats how!  Actualy its more to do with the courses set.  The way the river is, the course set is usualy a large attributing factor to who's going to do well.
And to be fair to the helm of the 59er in question, he's spent a looooooong sailing osprey's and so the 59er is a whole new beast to him which means he is almost learning to sail all over again.
