I'm guessing he means that the mainsheet and jib sheet are in effect one rope, as per 9ers and 14s. Its makes swapping the sheets between helm and crew easier and works well on boats with self tackers where you only have a single job sheet.
Upwind crew plays mainsheet, helm can run hand down sheet to adjust jib as necessary, but essentially crew takes it across the boat for him during tacks. When you bear away crew hands sheet to helm and sorts kite out, so there is never any dropping sheets in the middle of the boat. Anyway back to pimping, whos going to be the first to get their 300 a vinyl rap? |

Dont worry craig no friction to be found my friend. And yes i think a 6mm vectran forestay is pimp as well as an adjustable splice on the vang to give perfect kicker control
Also i think my kite halyard takeup is pretty swish! |

BBSCFaithful,
Your taper on the jib sheet looks like it might get caught in the block, as its too steep a taper. Before you thread the outer back into the core you need to gradually thin out the strands a bit so that you get a gradual increase in diameter rather than the step you appear to have. Is this really pimping or merely bimbling !!!! |

I have just gone harken carbo route for the new ratchet block, with black maffolli mainsheet and red excel fusion for the strops. I need to replace the other mainsheet blocks but by that point i had already spent enough for the wife to notice!!
