Crashed again and within 12 hours of last crash!

You would have thought that they could have solved this 2 months into the game.

Now I've turned left up the Atlantic I realise how spoilt I've been with planning my routes around the relatively predictable Southern Ocean lows. This first part is real nightmare.

Decided to go west of the Falklands after much provarification. Looks like Alex Thomson who is in a similar position in the real race has also elected to go west as well. This helped to sway me as he'll have proper weather routing software behind his decision, whereas I'm doing barely any more than guessing.

Any idea what you are going to do Dougal?

Nope!  To be honest i'm still feeling a bit emotional having rounded the horn single handed for the first time...

Having had a quick look, going west of the Falklands seems risky to me.  I've got a couple of hours before I need to make a decision, I'm sure it will be much clearer after a bucket of Rioja!

My provarification continues. Now back onto the East after I did some back of soggy fag packet calculations.
Decided that taking a risk right now when I have no obvious reason for it is not worth it.

Bugger. Can't make up my mind.
Gonna try East again, cause forecast in 24+hours looks much better to be East.
