Well yes: the German nation has a proud military history dating back to when Arminius bunch wiped out three whole Roman legions some two thousand years ago, and only about 20 years of it involved Nazis - say one percent.

Well there we have it. Only a fool could find a Nazi link with the son of a famous fascist leader participating in a S&M orgy with 5 hookers whilst wearing German military uniforms, doing lice inspections and talking like Herr Flick.

A reasonable person on the other hand, would assume Mosley was doing this as a tribute to other figures from Germany's proud military past, like Arminius.

I think you owe me an apology for that, don't you?

Having read the judgement, which is scathing on the really quite appalling and *criminal* behaviour of the newspaper and its staff its easy to understand how the judge was able to find that militaristic != Nazi.

Another interesting thing from the judge's report was that the ladies that the News of the World were attempting to blackmail were upset to be described as "members of the oldest profession". They seem to consider the job of paid participation in role playing games to be more akin to that of an actress.

Yeah sorry Jim but I don't understand why you are defending thw actions of Mosley ...

Yeah, just because someone may have issues with the NOTW, it doesn't automatically follow that Mosley is a nice chap.

I rather think it's quite probable that he's a chip off the old block AND the NOTW is a grubby, morally corrupt outfit.

I'm not defending him: but personally I would put the NOTW journalist guilty of blackmail, lies, fabrication and invasion of privacy in a considerably lower circle of hell than Mosley and his bizarre private pecadillos...

If I remember Dante correctly so would he!
