Polyester was never quite my style (not that I've ever had much!), I'm sure I can have something exclusive prepared by the design department for next year, manufactured in China and shrunk to a strange shape on the first wash. There were plenty of examples to follow, I did see one version generating enough static to drive the show

Silk old chap, was it the Cossacks or Mongol hordes garment of choice?
Funny I was only chastising the breadknife this very morning on the lack of silk shirts in my wardrobe..

I have a feeling this thread may be about to go down the silk underwear route again?

Silk underwear ... er ... not required wear officially unless an appropriate sponsor steps forwards. (Though what exactly 'Andy' the Dancing Farmer wears under his wetsuit might be improved by such a sponsor !)
But I'm sure the CA are open to more conventional sponsorship ... more likely 'your name/logo' etc on a rugby shirt or similar ... and if you represent a brewery why not work with a disproportionally avid cross section of your customer base ? In the meantime see a few of you at the 'Beastie' next week ... Mike L. |

Hi Martin
We need a few details ! Any photos ? We know it can be quick ..... How was your baptism with the dangly pole system ? Get it right and there is another gear in the gearbox yet. Best to experiment with it at first - just remember it can control the slot very effectively - or you can simply ignore at first. .. and was this your first time 'off the boom' sheeting ? Good to know you are sailing now ... bit early for Scotland I'd have thought ! Mike L. |

Looks good. Is that a triple fall on the main sheet?
