Glad to see he's realised that it's more comfy than a topper and he doesn't have to race for 3 years to mark zero

I did the Beasty for the first time last year, and loved it! Definitely coming back this year, with a new Mark 0 strategy!

Thanks Simon, that's a generous offer but probably wouldn't go down too well if I said we've arrived, I' m off sailing! I might wander past the club during the week though and see if I think it's doable in a day from the midlands. Chris

It's about 2 hours max down the m5 to Taunton then about 1/2 hours across stunning countryside Chris though if you Google it I suspect you could cut across from the Bridgwater turning saving a bit if time

Had a look at Fireball rules and the Banks Tape Drive mainsail that the winner used isn't class legal. It's a similar situation to the Merlin that won a couple of years ago. They retired.
Not sure if the sail was measured and if so how that happened...... |

If we are talking about the Tiger then wasn't the winner using Speed Sails? Can you find the bit of rules that prohibits the use of the winning sail? If it's correct then I guess that's a big can of worms opened.... ![]() |
