Turtlerecall has offically Rtd, disputed gate crossing, toys thrown out of pram.  Thumbs Down

Have been told by RO? that track will change over time so no way of verifying if i crossed or not. on the up side it is well timed for xmas! no more planning.

Ok after 48hrs with zero access around the previous gate  (the Ipad app is of no use so dont even waste time to download it!)

finnally log back on yesterday to find.... well the leaders have long gone Rwoofer Dougal and Plastic pig et al are back in touch having been nearly 1600miles behind! Turtutlerecall is ahead of me on the water but showing behind in rankings ( now confirmed as RTD)  so not much happened then! Big smile

well back to it, in last 24hrs run as of 1900hrs GMT-1 daily run of 598.1 miles game on lets try and build a gap again!

Been abroad for most of the last week without access. Should have aimed North of the last gate not South before I left! Reckoned I would get access when away or be back before I passed the gate, boat goes reasonably quickly if left alone!

I think you deserve a medal for actually turning back when most would have given up! If you look at the virtual satellite image I posted there still are plenty to race against when you do get to the gate.

If it's any consolation I'm not going fast anywhere in the next 24 hours.

Tad80 etc. You're going to pull out those miles again. Amazing what a difference 200 miles can make. I just couldn't keep up with the wind, where I'm sure the pro sails make a difference looking at the angles and speeds you can make.

EDIT: Add Hazeltine to the medal list who is also turning back.
