233 over all not bad me thinks...

I can beat that  We were 3rd in our class, 60th in group and 104th overall.

Not bad for 4 Contender sailors and 2 non racing yachtie types.

The 2 sail reach from Bembridge towards Ryde was fantastic - I got to helm that bit.

Well done Mark. Bloody excellent.  We were 6th in group  (ISC 5C) and 120th overall.

3 kids, 1 cruising mum, 2 dinghy sailors and a bloke who knew how to use the gps.

Marvellous day out.  Fantastic bread pudding and fruit cake as on water rations.

Absolutely knackered

Jazz On The Patio event at BLYM Saturday Night.

Turned into Jazz Off The Patio when it started raining.

I am totally knackered from that .... We were considering posting on here at about 4 am .. but thought that was just too much effort.

I ended up sleeping in a Wayfarer World Assymetric kite in a fetching shade of blue and white, on a stack of carpet tiles. ( and at one point, under them! (Isis, your move!  ) )

Yes, I forgot a sleeping bag. I are the fool.

At least my bed wasnt on a tarpaulin in a tasty shade of green.

Anyway = I am tired, I'm gonna head home. Damn 5 minute cycles! Why does it have to be so far?!?

My inability to opperate a camera at that point seems to have let me down so I think you've got away with that one. It was a good look though.

I think there must have been something wrong with the beer cause Im not feeling well at all right now...

Midsummer Madness festival in Aberystwyth.

Hid in a tree because I thought a girl was going to beat me up. Fell out of a tree and dropped a bottle of beer on my own head.

That sums up my weekend.

2 reefs and the number 3, trying to slow the boat down and still went over 9knots, turned round having blown the hangover away and came in, shot but sweet.

Victor Trophy at Welsh Harp, We got 23rd overall out of 27th! ( 22nd, 19th and 23rd places in the races)

Never mind being overpowered while everyone else is still powering up ( about 8 stone too light all up ) ... It was gooooooood fun!

And it was my first time in a GP14, and my symetric kite work is a little rusty ... so great result when you realise everything was against us

Considering it was a club boat and I haven't helmed one much for ages, not bad I agree! And we kept overtaking people shame it didn't last. But good fun and nice and windy, with no rain for a change.

i was crewing on the fireball at poole, went very well, out of 14 boats we were 8th, and we were the first silver fleet boat (everyone ahead of us was in gold fleet at last years nats). the boat was falling apart underneath us a bit, the mainsheet/kiker block came apart again on the frst day so john couldnt adjust the kiker, it was tied together with cable ties. and on the way back in on the second day the cover fell apart on the mainsheet so the main couldnt be let out , all good fun. also, that was the first test for my new magic marine pro racing harness and it is very comfortable
