Amen to that!

Check out the bend in the boom, even a windsurfer wouldn't tolerate that.

in the down wind shots they should have the boom in alot more. they would go faster with the main not choking the kite slot and the leech of the main would keep the mast straighter.

I don't know if the wings have grown I have not seen the production D1 but they look abit wider than the wings I sailed with. a comfortable hiking possition will make sailing nicer with having to hike upwind and downwind with the assy.

I would expect the boom is one of the prototype ones there are quite a few of different stiffness being tested.

the events Luca was involved with in the Mustoskiff where alot of fun, I am sure Luca will go one better with the Devoti one races and his plans to make sailing more fun.

The rather rotunned women on Eastenders is more attractive than the D-One!!!!!!

The rig does indeed look better now, but Jacks right, the blue deck and the off centre pole make it look more like that Bosun at the Bloody Mary than a serious raceboat.

You never know, Luca and Phil may have been ahead of their time in creating the first retro/ironic dinghy design.

Think new Mini, new Beetle, new Fiat 500.....

Looks fine to me... I know you smodders have trouble understanding the concept of choice, but I suspect you will get a choice of deck colour (Maybe even cool transparents), And I prefer having the pole offset to having the mast offset...

Trouble is we did / were told all of that in the MX-Ray. Use the leech tension to backstay the mast. Sometimes it works, most of the time it don't, and your stalling the main. It depends on the angles.
