fab, thanks for posting that, fell out backwards off a Blaze doing that once... didn't even have the trap wire thing to blame!

I've had a couple of near misses dropping the kite from the helm. One minute you're pulling on a tight kite retrieval line, then as it's uncleated you're pulling on a very slack retrieval line walking your way out the back of the boat.

Having said that, I've also had a few near misses popping the battens with the trapeze. Most times I think to myself 'phew that was close'. Yesterday was obviously the exception. There went another pair of Gill Sunglasses. Perhaps they should have a free replacement service for the best 'lost in action' videos.

Keith, try getting the crew to pull down hard on the luff of the main by hand, we brought that in from the 29er and it works a treat! Seb
