Hey baldy, since I don't currently have a boat, and your missus will only break it, and she does have a topper, best to let me sail it and leave your folically challenged bonse in the club house. Alternatively there is a shop in Crawley, (so I've been told) that sells tight fitting rubber head gear, which should keep the sun off. Apparently it is just off the high street, down past The Royal Bank of Scotland, between the Kebab and Pizza shop , just before the car accessory place, and it has blacked out windows with over 18's only on the door. (never actually been near the place myself though). |

you can get sun cream that's meant for your head, and if u get a surf make one, then they are water proof aswel, or you could just let BNS sail!!!

The ONLY solution when it's hot and sunny and blowing a steady force 4 on a lovely sea is TO LET ME SAIL!! You stay in the shady, cool clubhouse with the girls and you get to sail IN THE WINTER ! (teeee hee, that's a master plan, innit? |

OK now we are on the subject of head gear. What should a Contender sailor wear to stop the top of his head getting sunburnt. I have the opposite problem to sailor girl - too little hair and getting less all the time (well I do live with BNS and our 2 little darlings.) Better watch this may end up as a Dear Dave letter........ I have tried baseball caps but they get blown off or they hit the mainsheet tower when I tack. Any ideas??? |

Yeah I know the feeling, duh bandanas are a great idea, Y didnt i think of that - I have act had one in the posket of my Baid for monthsw now that I use...... the only prob woith bandana is it has to be tied tight or it will slide backwards leaving u with more probs. |
