i'm glad this is bizzare, id be worried if i had become anything near normal
and yes plenty of boats are named after animals, but really, how many have the exact scaled proportions of a fish? or a hornet?
imagine a boat with the hull the same shape as the under side of a blue whale....... that i'm guessing would be quite efficient

To be fair the thread is 'Badgers and other animals' and a Bull is definately an animal.  Whatever happened to them anyway (the boat, not the animal)?

Hang on, are insects animals?? Assuming they are for the purposes of this one I'll chuck in the Bumble Bee.

Maybe I'm thinking about this too much....

Yep, insects are members of the kingdom Animalia, phylum Arthropoda,
class (I think) Insecta. Sorry, force of habit, I see a lot of this at work and
elsewhere.

Well, if you divide everything into animal/vegetable/mineral, then insects have to be lumped with animals.

What about tenuous animal links:
Finn - animal appendage

look guys, we really don't have to struggle so much to say that insects (or barnacles for that matter) are animals - I think that was sorted out over 100 years ago!

But anyway I do love the bizzarre nature of this thread

And the people who live in Finland are classed as animals, too. Any other boats named after a Nation's people?

I have a Firefly, a Puffin and a Snark, though I think a Snark is a mythical beast?

Firefly 2324, Puffin 229, Minisail 3446 Mirror 70686
