I'm afraid I hit them at the windward mark in race 2 and they couldn't carry on. 🙁

Last saw them going downwind with no kite in the second race so I expect something broke.

I think it's fair to say Tom has done a lot more 200 sailing than 800 sailing.

Thanks, I've done quite a bit of 200 sailing so no excuses from me! My crew hasn't done much in them so it was a credit he picked it up so quickly (and didn't moan too much about having to hike).

I thought it was an amazingly well run event and it's clear how supportive and proud the RCYC members are of it.

Or you could say, After 6 races Toby Lewis has probably cemented himself into greatest endeavour sailor.  Look back at past winners over last ten years and he’s a constant.
