Thanks. The whole thing rotates, so don't think its glued. I agree, the rivets look too high. I wonder if the green bit is riveted in, and the rubber joint fixed to the green bit within the tiller extension.

Mine have all had a screw through the side, the rivet in your photo looks to high, don't think they are that long, could just be glued in, the stem has two ridges round it.

Hi everyone.

I'm new to the forum, and my first post.

Looking for some advice re changing the rubber joint on my tiller extension (see pic).

Do the aluminium rivets need drilling out, or is it just a push fit into the green bit. The extension itself rotates, so i can't see how it is fixed.
