Thames water have imposed strict washdown procedures at our club, but I fear it's too late. This country needs to take biosecurity a lot more seriously.

Alright, this new species is "highly invasive", and it's affecting whole ecosystems by filtering out large quantities of nutrients. It also presents a serious biofouling risk by blocking pipes, smothering boat hulls and other structures.
Obviously all Y&Y forumites are following the recommended procedures
 , but what percentage of water users in general do you think are doing so? Is it all hopeless? Are we doomed? |
