Heart in the mouth stuff when one ski lifts off the ice ! Great vid, couple of questions though,
1) How do you know the whole lake is thick enough to sail on, going through thin ice doesn't bear thinking about.  2) I can't even walk on ice when I am sober, so how do you do it when you have just had a bottle of whiskey for lunch ??

Just had a second look, the sail/wing bends both ways at once on the 80 mph run, though I doubt he had time to look up !!

Did it one on a frozen lake in Poland ages ago. Only conventional sails in those days and the ice was covered with a thin layer of snow so that even with goggles on, the worst bit was trying to see where you were going. I don't expect I did more than 40 mph but it was brilliant.
