Those chutes are real son-of-a-bitches to make... He's simplified his a bit by giving it only a minimal radius at deck level, but I don't know I'd like that operationally. When I did one I had about a two unch radius at the deck, which I'm sure is better, but it was an absolute nightmare getting all he reverse curves in the area between the deck and the tube sorted out... Now I think of it I ahould have made the mould in two parts, one being the 90 desgree turn and the other the bellmouth...

I think I understand what you mean Jim..... you thing that the "bend" inside the chute should be "less sharp" to make it easier for the kite to flow in and out?
(please bear with me on these matters - not built a boat before so I want to make sure I've tackled as many issues as possible before I start..)
