I thought the whole point of this thread was converting a Topper to foils??? Why not buy Strawberry's British Moth and play with that. The moth is like a Topper but with a stayed mast and a bigger sail with alot up top (designed for river sailing). It would be easy to beef it up, add wings, trapeze, assy etc. You could then take out the centreboard and convert it to a dagger board. Get an old rudder and make a T foil from it, do the same for the rudder and hey presto you have a foiling moth. Who needs wands etc when you can just go higher and higher until you fall off.......now that sounds like fun. |
