sick wind at hunts, had to let my dad come with me, didn't capsize thankfully, but Paul J wasn't so lucky :)It was an amazing face plant and backflip.

yeah certainly on the first day they were in a different league, unfortunately i
was not with them
Second day we managed to nail a couple of sweet bullets and very nearly a
third but it wasn't to be.

those 300s looked bloody mental out there, i take my hat off to anyone that
got one of them around

Yeah i was in the dark blue 300.  No need to feel bad mate, i came second in that race so all was not lost. I really ballzed the approach to that mark up so knew i was going to have to tack again, there was no point in shafting you boys either as you were in a different fleet!  Well done on the forth, the top 5 400's really were in a different class to the rest IMO.

Merlinboy, were you in a dark blue 300 by any chance?
If so we owe you a beer for letting us in on the layline at the top mark on
the final race, felt pretty bad when you tacked off for us and didnt make the
lay yourself.......my bad!

Our first day was appalling with some shocker results, i was ready to go
home to be honest.
But the second day we had some far better results.
I think we came 4th as well, in the 400s. just couldnt get in the groove the
first day which really beat us out of the top 3

we were the Rooster 400 btw

I was there to James in a 300, awesome fun!  Gutted i came forth as three of us were tied on 16 points for second place!

Still awesome fun if you could cope with the shifts!

I rigged a few Feva's for a Feva Regatta event we had and then had to watch them race from the race hut as I was race officer. F3 with a few gusts and lovely sunshine.

Must admit, those in inland waters, the water is fffffreezing on the hands. Had to simulate using a roll mat on Saturday, the water wasn't plesantly warm.

Come on Grumpf that is a poor excuse.... or was the infamous 'shore dump' in full effect?

1st round of the 505 open series at Pitsford

Plenty of teething troubles on the Saturday (with a big dose of muppetry thrown in), not too bad on Sunday

Nice to be back on the water - Hands hurt, back hurts, knees hurt, shins hurt, new gloves are trashed and in the bin - Excellent

When you find a big kettle of crazy it's probably best not to stir it - Pointy Haired Boss

Crew on 505 8780
