in my opinion, that award would go to Hanauama bay in hawaii, having snorkeled there, but thats just my opinion..

yeh brian it was "tortola BVI" is like the main island in the british virgin islands. in my opinion the best place ever,

its great when it works but em bad when it doesnt or u have to change the oil in the middle of the southern ocean like ellen did a few years ago!

so its sort of good and bad then, my dads boat has hydrolic steering (cos its got a wheel) i'd much prefer to have a tiller tho

they are canterd to the windward side of the boat when sailing. the keels are moved by hydrolics. It is not this that fails it is the bearing that snap thus letting the keel fall off

yeh thats what i was thinking but i wasn't sure, ive never been into yacht racing that much, done plenty of cruising n dinghy sailing.

sailor girl: i got it off my great t-shirt that i got from the british virgin islands, that was a great place

ok i will try to keep this simple the keels canter to provide alot more leverage its a bit like trapezing as it helps to keep the boat flat and more powered up. When they work they are great, but because of angle there is an increase in the stresses and they have a tendancy to snap off. Leaving the boat upside down not good!!!
