pfft! You get the right picture though, yes? A mass of flashing light, not even hurtling along the road (it was just after a roundabout) and the twit still decides to move.

Dude you've got crappy flashers on your helmet, kindly leave the forum.

Go and stand in the corner with that Contender 541 dude in the sandals with socks and drink crap Camra Ale for a bit whilst you consider your position.

With the cost of fuel rocketing again, I'm thinking about bikes, having not ridden for years. Trouble is, I end up with aching knees when I do ride - is there a way of setting up a bike so that the knees take minimum punishment? Or a style of bike (don't care how girly) that is better for the knees than another? Or any other advice, please?

depends how far and how fast you want to go surely? Probably don't want to be like the t0553r5 on their fixies, reckon those would do your knees a mischief- gears will probably be your friend to reduce loading

Those bikes do mainly look pretty Graeme, plenty of style- though why you would ever want a non"sport" bike that doesn't have mudguards I don't know (most of them on that site do, but there are some that don't) unless you're some sort of fair-weather poser- as a streak of wetness up your back is never a cool look in town.

Er you buy the accessory mudguard if you live somewhere it rains and or you intend to ride in the rain.

The Cruisers are for beach and boardwalk cruising, the sit back foot forward pedal action is less stressfull than normal ATB or Roadies that most folk are buying these days, it's what they hang their hat on, not being about stress.

ER interest to declare here, we do distribute them, or are just in the process of so doing.

ah, OK, there was only one UK distributor listed. I do appreciate what the benefit of the riding position is, I see a lot of similar style bikes (as well as many, many unsuitable ones) around here- but I'll stick with my drop handlebars for my commuting.

Mindyou, some of those cruisers are a bit fugly, in my opinion.
