Here's another from the Sussex coast 1950's. I haven't a clue what this is either. The sail logo, a winged horse with a fishes tail would suggest something like a Seahorse but I'm guessing.

 The afore mentioned beast  in Greek Mythology would be called a Hippocamp but that's a crap name for a boat.

LoL, oh yes.

This could have been a regatta at Bexhill SC. Many of the competitors may have sailed from Hastings or Pevensey.....no trolleys.

The shingle in this part of the world is quite soft. So long as the boats are lifted carefully very little if any damage gets done.

What I can see of the hull looks like a Peggie, and I've seen blue jibs on them, so I think it must be the insignia which is different.

Never a doubt that it was a Peggie.
 
Plenty in the cvrda gallery too.
