I have in the past been tempted to stick a trap on my phantom, just for a laugh, but then thought the boat wouldn't be up to it.

Not really phantom shaped at all - the closest thing to it is Jim Champ's 1970's Farr Cherub. ( by the same designer, and also 12' / 3.7m long... )

Not really, it's shorter, wider, has a more open cockpit and I think a fully battened main these days. |
