G: Would buy one off the shelf ... if it had a kite, was made of foam/epoxy, had a ready supplier of sails and was a bit quicker up wind.

If you read the issue of Y&Y magazine which hit the shelves today, you hopefully enjoyed the Farr 3.7 test.

That does bring back happy memories of blasting upwind in my Farr Cherub: she still managed a "first to the windward mark" at a UK Championships when 17 years old...
