	ok i can have a look round there with francis (waverider) when we go into town and i think i might make ither a tiller extention or make a start on the bowsprit

	To make those bits you will need a mandril. This is kinda like a mould. You find something the right size and shape of what you want. Cover it in candle wax or brown tape (cos epoxy doesn't stick to it). Lay up round it, then when it goes hard take the mandril out the middle.

	Tiller extensions - easier to just buy a 6ft carbon landing net handle! This is around £10!! & lads, have you got the boat yet? Id suggest waiting, cuz how do you know what size pole to use? does it already have an asmy kite? etc etc

	Depends what you were making. If the drainpipe is the right diameter then yer. But if its the same sort of drainpipe I'm thinking of then it will probably be too fat.

	there is no point making a tiller extension. Go to your local fishing shop and ask for a carbon handle for a carp landing net. They cost about a tenner and u just need to put the flexi fitting in the end and you're sorted. I personally recommend the Red Wolf variety but thats only cos they look cool and are cheap as chips, £9.95 each from my local shop!
