If you're a hipster idiot who reckons your current "fixie" isn't quite t**tty-enough for you, how about this massively overpriced style-before-substance machine?

Not having fat tires, I've been keeping the bike safely in the garage.

Yep, everyday haven't missed one yet, worse ride was when the dog jumped in the lake thinking it was solid, it was at night and my lights had just started to 'blink'. Had to take to the 'snowbike' my Covert, it's heavier than my regular ride and a little bit more laid back angles, but so far other than the dog incident everythings been kewell, if a little harder work.

I don't have a choice of rides, but the Marin works for me! The 2.25's seem to bite well into the snow, really impressed with them. Running lower pressures than in the summer but haven't really felt the need to get any winter specific tyres. My only complaint is how cold my fingers get! Anyone suggest any good winter gloves?!

Sailing gloves work for.me, the local downhill trails are really something in the snow right now! Fat tires are awesome in it too :)

I have just bought a Gary Fisher Paragon 29er. The only problem with it is that it makes me feel like some mountain biking hero, meaning I fly down rocky tracks faster than my brain keeps up. I have a feeling I might come a cropper soon.

Nice idea! Not sure they would have much effect on ice though?

Mmmm, possibly not! I like to let the bike do the work when it gets slippy and just go where it wants to. Certainly wouldn't want to go out on slicks though at this time of year.

I think I'll come check them out on the 16th Grumph. Can you make sure you have a medium and a large on the stand?
