hope so.

depends on so many things, sail area, hull shape, yardstick etc. none of which is known yet.

the lightning 368 is great and i really love sailing it, but i miss the speed of the laser.

so the idea of a modern laser type boat sounds good to me!

if its not a go-er for our water, i might look to join our growing supernova fleet at the end of the year.

Don't fancy joining the Bread Knife and getting a Brit' Moth then?!!

Rooster boat does seem to have potential but I wish RS would enter the fray with a mini 300 that doesn't have a kite.

Well you could, my son had a Magnum 8 but you need an onshore father with a full range of tools to keep it sailing. Also it's frustrating to look at the design flaws, reinvent it and realise that a 300 is what it should be!

have tried to get a skinner build glass B M  but failed. thats why i am now looking at other boats.

even if i had got one, i would not win races, not like elaine.

she must have won over half the races since i got her the new boat!

Is it right that you sail on 7 acres? In which case, as an ex BM sailor and current Lightning sailor, I would be sailing a BM. The other boat I've been surprised by the good light wind performance of is the OK.

I sent steve a message on facebook, the extreme weather has slowed progress, but there should be some feedback soon!

Using some keen Paint Shop Pro skills I have tidied up the photo a little bit... Steve's flash must have been broken!
