Split personality

   N Ian no offence but english exam system exams dont actualy prove that you can speak the language, I know guys who got GCSE french with out being able to speak a word of the language and I went to a french school 4 a couple of months  n got a D.

	lol, biased is ok, I must admit I like french better, I found german to hard to learn too much gramar.... but then again my exams results dont believe that... and i think i can trump anyone on the languages front.... guess which one I learnt for GCSE ........ russian

	Whoooo hoooo, thats really good Ian! I found German quite a logical language to learn. Lots of grammar, but I actually like grammar !! Still, for the sheer elegance of the phrase, the refinement of the vocabulary and the pure emotional power of each word, I prefer French.... yep, I am a little biased

	Ive studied German for 5 years but have discovered on numerous trips to Germany that you're usually better off with English, unfortunatly it seems my accent is good enough for everyone i speak to to assume that I am either German or fluent, and I am neither, mind u I am predicted an A at AS...

	i did german for a couple of years, but dropped itr due to pressure for diene deutschen rellies to converse with them in german. I do french GCSE, but i'm crap at it - "je ne comprend pas" and "je voudrais un chocalté chaud avec creme chantillé" tends to get you by when skiing . I agree with Dave, speaking loudly and slowly in english in a frnech accent and using lots of hand gestures suffices!

	lol i think we must have got it pretty easy then, they changed the sylabus for our yr and like half the room nealry burst outlaughing with how easy it was.
