My best one was beating this chav in his done up nova off the lights, whilst towing the 29er in my mum's diesel 306, will never forget the look on him and his missus' faces, comic!

Scooby, your parents live just down the road from me, haha! That piece of A1 is lovely for driving, apart from all the cameras and OB in their vans!

That's the Impreza Everything's got a price... But creaming past
thunder-stricken blue-rinsed grannies in their Vauxhall Nova is really
worth it!!! The best part is when you can see them in the rear mirror,
checking their speedometer! « I assure you, Gladys, this thing was
working this morning....»

Yep, the Impreza can drink petrol at an alarming rate - and it gets very
expensive as I run it on Optimax all the time....

But if I am being sensible and keep the revs below 3000 i can also
average 35mpg - but what is the point of having a turbo car if you don't
exercise the turbo !

I've also had it off the clock (on a German moterway) and the clock
goes to 160MPH !!!!!!!  (but it was probably around 145mph as the clock
overreads somewhat)

So Iv'e got solar panels on my house to support your rediculus driving
habbits. You should by a jet ski for the full set.

Mine's a turbo diesel, so I get to use my turbo whichever club I go to.  I belong to 2, one is 20 mins away and the other is 50 mins away.  I used to drive a fast car, now I sail a fast boat and drive sensibly.

Jim, Jack, Scoob and others !!

Chill out!

I can see this thread degenerating rapidely... Boys and their toys, eh?

Coming back to the original topic, it takes me between 20 mns (daytime traffic) and 8 mns (night time GTi, vroooooom!) to get to the club... and I get there at least 4 times week! (I look after the galley, shop and tidy up - and sometimes sail a little )

Lancing SC - the place to be - complete with French caterers...now how far would you go to get that??

I used to travel 150km each to go for a sail...now that distance would get me to the club and back 3 times!! (Gotta love SIngapore...)
