I used to switch to another station as soon as he came on in the afternoon, so now I just tun the radio off in the morning at 7am.

I can't think of a worse person to have "yapping" in your ear at that time of the morning.

Well I think Evans is better than Wogan anyday. I always switched of R2 if Wogan was on.

Can't stand some of the music played by R2 in general. Country music, Elvis or Tom Jones are all good reasons to switch off.

Classic FM works for me at times apart frrom the blinking adverts that repeat so often.

And Chris Moyles is an annoying pratt that is too full of himself.

Luckily my Radio at home is a wifi radio, and I can pick up stations around the planet (over them interwebnets). Current favorites are Highveldt (South African) and Tripple M Adelaide (A couple of adverts, but its a good listen. Cheery Australians driving home while you wake up in the morning!)

Give me Radio Caroline back in the seventies / early eighties anyday of the week!! "Live from the North Sea on 319 metres" - (Ding! ding!)  - won't mean anything to you youngsters - but still brings a tingle up my spine. Any of you remember Tom Anderson?? Great DJ....
