you can't beat sailing at pwhelli in a force 4-5 south westerly with 4-5 foot rollers.

Largs does suck that stupid chain ferry nearly ran me ova!

Largs changing rooms arnt much bigger any way.

Pwhelli is really good but the changing rooms are too small. Yeah you get chop and swell.

largs sucks pwhelli is a much better location

better waves

better winds

better weather and ohh yeah it actually has a decent events compound

Ummmm......   Just checked it out on my Mapsource software Haggis....It gives Edinburgh to Pentewan as 519 miles in 9 hrs means you were averaging 57.6 MPH.  Naughty Haggis

haggis r u a member at largs, i cldnt agree with you more, so many up and coming olympic development squad members are based there, or sail in that area of water, it is to host the volvo youths again next season, aswell as a topper traveller AND the topper nationals, not to mention holding the laser masters this season AND the oppi nationals AGAIN i might add, aswell as the 18 foot skiff championships for a 2nd year running. so yes i do believe that largs is by far the best club around
