Thanks for the replies guys! Well we have around 4 - 5 grand to spend, with selling the 420 etc. We did consider the 470 but when it came to finding a decent one secondhand it became pretty difficult. Definately dont fancy getting a brand new one. Also considered the 800 as its obviously similar to the 49er. But dont really know much about them! Haha yeah we are, when i say big boys i mean more grown up than a 420! |

i agree with tt old i14 twin wires and plenty growing room get one cheap and put the rest to new sails or a car

Got to say it, 130kg would be fine in a 3000... My crew & I weighed in at 137kg for last w/e's Sheppey Race.
